A great selection of NICE food options for breakfast. The building of this apartment was lovely. 5 minutes walk away from bootham.

Great location for exploring the area around Lendal Bridge, and we really loved the food and the staff here.

Room was cosy and comfortable with lovely decor. Good breakfasts. Excellent location - only 10 mins walk into city centre.

Beautiful house , very homely brilliant to have ajoining room for the children, easy walking distance from the town centre and a delicious breakfast.

In our room, we had a nice sitting area as well as a shower. It felt really luxurious and comfortable. 💫

Have stayed twice the second time the mattress in a different room was not very comfortable everything else was exellent

Was a lovely guest house, room was really nice and luckily my brother and sister in law ended up in the honeymoon suite, very nice indeed

Rooms were fab!!! Both me and my partner were 'wowed' as soon as we walked in. Staff were very friendly and allowed us to check in early and leave our car in their car park for a few hours after check-in. Hotel in good location too!!!!

We had the most perfect romantic weekend break at The Holme Lea Manor. The guest house was extremely clean and comfortable. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Beautifully decorated with period features. The breakfasts were really good especially the scrambled egg and salmon. Being in a cul-de-sac it was lovely and quiet at night. Only 5-10 minute walk to the Minster and the heart of the city. We had the most perfect break at this guest house, we will definately be coming back again. Well recommended A***********

Walking distance to walled city of York, very friendly staff to greet you and breakfast had good selection on the menu and high quality.

We stayed at the Holme Lea Manor over the Easter weekend for our honeymoon and had the most fantastic time. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was spotless, welcoming and very comfortable. The tree lined road was very quiet and just off the main road into town. Breakfast was delicious - great scrambled eggs, as were the Easter chocolates and gingerbread men left out for guests to enjoy! The short 10 min stroll into town was very pleasant with buildings and avenues to explore on the way. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Staff were friendly and helpful,, good location for city and not too close that your kept awake at night by noise,, would stay there again...
